"Daylight"
The well known Southern Pacific 'Coast Daylights'
traveled up and down the California coast back in the heyday of railroad steam power. This
engine, #4449 was restored to tour the country as the Freedom Train during the
Bicentennial Celebration in 1976. Later it was returned to it's original 'Daylight' paint
scheme and made periodic runs around the country.
