"So Low"

This picture takes place at one of the many small American airports that were scattered across the country during of the heyday of General Aviation. It depicts the ubiquitous Cessna 150 trainer during a low, short, unsteady approach for a student pilot's first solo landing. The instructor stands by nervously observing.
No prints are available of this 18"x 24" gouache watercolor painting. Original not available.
