The Grumman S2F (S-2) Trackers were carrier-based
aircraft specifically designed for the purpose of anti-submarine warfare. They were built
in the 1950s and served well into the 1970s until they were replaced by the jet-powered
S-3 Vikings. Along with the P-2 Neptunes, they were among the last of the piston-engine
aircraft in the US Navy inventory. A limited edition of 500 printed on 100% acid-free cover stock. Original available. Size is 22" x 28" including a 2" white border. $48 + $7.50 shipping and handling. |
